Kauffman Foundation Award for Learning Interfaces!

Congratulations to Learning Interfaces being selected as one of 15 educational teams out of over 1,400 applicants nationwide to participate in the five-month Kauffman Labs Education Ventures Program sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation.

Part school and part business accelerator, Kauffman Labs for Enterprise Creation is a new approach to developing the next generation of high-growth firms. Tapping the Kauffman Foundation’s vast entrepreneurship knowledge and networks, the program seeks to accelerate the number and success of new firms by offering a new method for teaching and training entrepreneurs of dynamic, fast-growth, scalable businesses in a lab setting, while studying the “science of startups” in the process.

The award will provide a total of $100,000 in salary compensation, and will include two months of training at Kauffman headquarters in Kansas City, and a three-month “immersion program” whereby each participant shadows and works with leading educational entrepreneurs across the United States. Learning Interfaces intends to leverage this award to secure additional investment capital as we scale their operations and seek to become a leading provider of digital textbooks and data analytics in higher education.
